WebVTT

WebVTT (Web Video Text Tracks) is a W3C specification for a file format marking up text track resources in combination with the HTML <track> element. WebVTT files provide metadata that is time-aligned with audio or video content like captions or subtitles for video content, text video descriptions, chapters for content navigation, and more.
